General Provisions

The 15th SUDO World Championship is organized with the purpose of promoting the international development of the sport of SUDO, strengthening friendly relations between athletes from different countries, and improving the sporting and technical level of the participants.


Organizer

The championship is organized by the:

World SUDO Federation

With the support of:
• the German Ministry of Sport
• representatives of the international sports community

The overall management of the event is carried out by the World SUDO Federation. The direct organization is conducted by the Organizing Committee of the Championship.

Participants

Eligible participants include:

• Male and female athletes aged 18 and above
• Representatives of national teams and clubs

Participants must compete in official SUDO sports uniforms.

A valid passport or identity card must be presented during registration.

• 67 kg
• 74 kg
• 81 kg
• +81 kg

Women

• 60 kg
• 66 kg
• 72 kg
• +72 kg

The organizers reserve the right to modify weight categories if necessary.

November 5, 2026

• Arrival of teams
• Registration of participants

November 6, 2026

• Official weigh-in
• Draw ceremony
• Technical meeting of referees and team representatives

November 7, 2026 — Competition Day

08:00 – 09:00 → Final weigh-in
09:30 – 13:00 → Preliminary fights (all weight categories)
13:00 – 14:00 → Break
14:00 – 18:00 → Semi-finals and finals
18:00 – 19:00 → Award ceremony


Referees

• The fights will be conducted according to the official rules of the World SUDO Federation.
• The decisions of the referees are final.


Awards

1st Place → Gold Belt + Certificate
2nd Place → Trophy + Certificate
3rd Place → Medal + Certificate


Participation Conditions

• Travel, accommodation, and meal expenses are covered by the teams themselves
• Each team must possess medical clearance for participation
• Valid sports insurance is mandatory

Participants take part in the competition at their own responsibility.

The organizer is not liable for injuries, accidents, or personal belongings of the participants.

Arrival and Departure

• Reception of participants will be organized upon prior registration
• Transfer services may be arranged in coordination with the Organizing Committee
• Departure will take place according to the teams’ travel schedules


National Symbols

• Participating nations may bring their national flags
• The victory ceremony will be held with the national anthem of the champion


Media and Public Relations

By participating, athletes and delegations agree to photo, video, and media recordings for reporting, social media, and promotional purposes related to the event.
